A smooth operating drop-down visor, rear ratched fastener, adjustable headband and webbed cradle give a well balanced comfortable fit and have earned this helmet a reputation as ‘safe, comfortable & trusted PPE’. The helmet also has unique adjustable air vents which can be opened and closed to give added comfort to the wearer particularly in warmer seasons/climates.
Available in 6 contrasting colours the IRIS 2 is ideal for sectioning large workforces, the bold colours immediately indicate the wearers deparment/division from a distance. What level of protection is provided?
Iris 2 is tested and certified to the below standards:
- EN 397 + A1: 2013 (Physical and performance requirements for industrial safety helmets)
- EN 50365: 2002 (Insulating helmets for use on low voltage installations)
- EN 166: 2002 (Certified safety eyewear) – Integrated Visor
A robust design and tough ABS shell offers the highest level of protection in the workplace or as perfect offshore clothing. The EN 166 rated integrated visor can be dropped down at any point providing protection from splashes of dangerous fuels, liquids and other harmful substances. If worn with compatible 4-Point chin strap HF0501 this helmet is ideal for operatives working height whether on scaffolding or an oil rig. Ear defender HP2538 is also compatible with the IRIS 2 and can be easily clipped into place if ear protection is required.
