V12 Safety Footwear – Premium Footwear for the Workplace
V12 Footwear is a Great British brand and has been leading the way for over 20 years providing premium quality Safety Footwear for the workplace.
Industry Recognized
As a trusted footwear supplier for recognized companies including Wessex Water, MACE, BAM and London Underground, Hazchem Safety are pleased to represent several styles from V12 in our product range.
‘Beginning with the Last’ – an important foundation of the V12 Brand
A wooden Last is the foundation for any footwear brand and whilst there are many common lasts available, V12’s story began with a completely revised development for all their IGS and STS footwear – handcrafted in Britain. The Last is an old English word meaning ‘Footprint’ and the V12 Last was created by taking scans of over 4000 feet. This then forms the basis of the V12 product range, ensuring a perfect fit for wearers in the UK and EU market in contrast to some footwear that is based on Last’s from other regions of the world that results in smaller fittings and consequently an increase in wearer discomfort and complaints.
Last manufacturing is a traditional skill combining craftmanship and knowledge, and many lasts are created by companies such as Springline, based in Northamptonshire, England, at the heart of the British shoe-making industry and renowned throughout the world. Once the Wooden last has been developed, HPDE versions are created for use in Bulk Production.

Combining extensive internal research and customer feedback, the new sole unit features a hex pattern for water dispersal, ladder grips for working at height and an angled heel strike for slip prevention and braking. Stability and Traction – the STS Sole
The STS Sole unit that features on many V12 Footwear styles was inspired by tractor tyre technology and is a revolution in sole design.
