The last three years at Hazchem have been very exciting for the Team here. Following several years of steady growth, we moved out of our old warehouse site into a much larger facility giving us the opportunity to not only stock more of the important day to day goods but to also fine tune the operation and to make the whole order fulfillment process including the transport and logistics much more efficient.
Reaching Stock Quicker
The following year we completely refitted the warehouse area with a brand new modern High Bay Racking System to ease the passage of goods and help to maintain a clear location of any stock regardless of size or quantity. To help with this we introduced the use of some order picking vehicles so that picking goods at any height within the racking is made seamless and safe for our Operatives.
Seeing the Bigger Picture
Further to this we also updated the lighting within the building to new energy efficient LED lamps. This was a “Win-Win” idea for Hazchem as not only are these new systems very energy efficient with great light distribution levels but also, they go a long way into reducing our carbon footprint which is something that as a responsible and progressive business we need to constantly consider.
We work tirelessly with our couriers and hauliers to make the transport and logistics much simpler and easy, and minimize the time from order to delivery so that we can ensure the customer experience is as smooth as possible. Working closely with DPD we have achieved an unrivalled service for our next day parcels across the UK and Europe. We offer up to the minute tracking of all parcels including a dedicated delivery window of one hour on any nominated day, email or SMS alerts to keep you informed of progress and complete peace of mind that your parcels are safe in their hands.
