WHAT IS PROTEX?
- Protex® is a high performance modified acrylic fibre produced by the Kaneka Corporation of Japan.
- Protex® does not melt or drip and is Inherently FR meaning that these properties will never wash/wear out for the life of the garment, even when industrially laundered – no re-treatment is required.
- Protex® can be easily blended with performance enhancing specialist fibres without affecting the inherent FR properties.
- A wide range of knitted, woven and non-woven products can be produced to suit all end user requirements.
- Produces comfortable, natural feel products with easy care characteristics o Cationic dyeable and Oekotex Standard 100, Class 1 rated.
