This 170N portable flotation device is certified to EN 396: 1993/A1: 1998 and may be easily inflated manually by blowing into the tube or automatically by pulling on the toggle. It is designed for coastal and offshore use with foul weather clothing. Once automatically inflated the re-arming kit will need to be replaced. The life jacket is made from durable TPU nylon composite material and contains a 33g CO² cylinder.

Hazchem Safety supply this life jacket in a neat, zipped mesh storage bag. In the case of automatic PFDs, when the device comes in contact with water it will inflate within 5 seconds, safely positioning and maintaining an incapacitated wearer, dramatically increasing their likelihood of survival.
