Manufactured from a soft fabric, our flame-retardant/anti-static clothing provides a fit that enables the wearer to work safely and comfortably.
Oil and gas storage facilities are particularly high risk workplaces, as highlighted by the 2005 Buncefield incident, when a series of explosions at the Hertfordshire Oil Storage Terminal caused a fire that took two days to extinguish and produced a smoke cloud that reached as far away as northern France.
The incident remains a significant cautionary event, demonstrating the importance of flame-retardant clothing in protecting staff against injuries and potential fatalities. All our flame-retardant/anti-static garments meet stringent EN11612/14116 & EN1149 standards, so you can depend on their heat and flame protection.
Our large stock of finished makes us unique in the marketplace. We are able to meet your supply requirements at very short turnaround and are also available to advise on safety in the event of a flash fire, drawing from our experience and knowledge to help protect your workforce when you need it most.
In addition to coveralls, we stock a whole range of trousers, jackets, and waterproof outer garments ideal for road transportation and land storage workwear—an area in which we are market leaders.

These premium trousers have been designed in conjunction with leading operators in the fuel terminal industry and are exclusively available through Hazchem Safety. Haztec 320 flame-retardant workwear meets the stringent standards specified by major fuel oil terminals for individuals fuelling and loading tankers.
The trouser is constructed from a heavier 320gsm fabric. The material is inherently flame retardant and anti-static, which means that its special safety properties cannot be reduced by repeated washing. The anti-static and flame retardant symbols are clearly heat sealed to the leg, giving visible proof of their conformity. Its features include twin needle-stitched seams, combat pocket with Hi-Vis strip, a side elasticated waistband for comfort, and standard pockets. The Haztec 320 trouser has been designed for use in hazardous environments such as transfer of gases and volatile fuels that render the atmosphere potentially explosive.
It conforms to EN1149—protection against the danger caused by static electricity, which could otherwise create a disastrous explosion. The garment also conforms to all of the following standards:
- EN 11612:2008 Class A1,B1,C1,F1
- EN1149-3:2004 Charge decay
